The Wesley Methodist Societies of the Holland Mission Circuit have the following as their mission statement:
1. We are committed to providing continuing nurture for those of the Methodist family and other Christian
communities particularly from Ghana and other English speaking countries. This becomes necessary
due to problems associated with full integration into the indigenous churches on account of language
limitations and lack of indigenous Methodist presence in the Netherlands.
2. We carry a vital responsibility in the mission of the church as we seek to minister to the needs of persons in
community where the church is located. Our society serves as a strategic base from which God's people
perform especially the ministries of worship, proclamation, sharing of sacraments, evangelism, nurture,
counselling, personal and social healing and service. We thus remain focused on a "holistic" ministry,
affecting body, soul and addressing the needs of humankind in an inclusive way. Our societies endeavour
to create for their members a place to feel at home, and actual sense of belonging which many migrants
who have long been detached from their families and their homeland lack in a foreign land.
non-churched teenagers and young adults in the community and to provide them with meaningful
experiences that will bring them closer to the Lord.
